Welcome to the Stateline SHRM

Welcome to the Stateline SHRM website.  We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, a global HR professional organization.  We offer you the best of two worlds:  an opportunity to network, learn, and develop professionally in a local setting, as well as to share in the professional knowledge, and dedicated support and resources available to us as a SHRM affiliate.     

Stateline SHRM generally meets on the second Thursday morning of the month.  We plan programs and events that address the real-world HR issues of our members.  These programs almost always offer HRCI credit for PHR, SPHR, and other certified HR professionals.  Stateline strives to offer our members personal, professional, and leadership development through participation at our meetings, on our committees, and on our board.  We also reach out to organizations within the McHenry County community who are in need of professional human resource support or services.

Welcome To Stateline SHRM

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession. Stateline SHRM is a local chapter of SHRM which serves professionals who live and/or work in the tri-county area. Our chapter has members from a wide range of organizations within our community.

Stateline SHRM generally meets the second Thursday of every month. Our General Meetings usually include a guest speaker and/or presentation which cover a topic of interest within human resource management. These meetings also provide us with the opportunity to network with our peers in the human resource field.

Our chapter is a "100% Chapter" which requires members to be a member of SHRM in addition to their local chapter membership. This national affiliation expands the networking potential tremendously and also provides additional services and resources to the local chapter.
